How to use your automatic Seiko movement

Before you start:
• Avoid setting the date between 21:00 and 03:00.
• Unscrew the crown before you adjust anything.
• Mechanical movements start when the watch moves. You can wind them by hand.


NH35. Automatic movement with date

Start and winding:
• Turn the crown clockwise 20 to 30 times after you unscrew it.
• The movement also winds itself when you wear the watch.

Set the time:
• Pull the crown to position 2.
• Move the hands forward only.

Set the date
• Pull the crown to position 1.
• Turn the crown counterclockwise to change the date.

NH34. Automatic movement with GMT and date

Start and winding:
• Turn the crown clockwise 20 to 30 times after you unscrew it.
• The movement also winds itself through motion.

Set the time:
• Pull the crown to position 2.
• The GMT hand follows the main hands.

Set the date and GMT:
• Pull the crown to position 1.
• Turn clockwise to set the GMT hand.
• Turn counterclockwise to change the date.

NH70. Automatic skeleton movement

Start and winding:
• Turn the crown clockwise 20 to 30 timer
• The movement also charges when you wear the watch.

Set the time:
• Pull the crown to position 2.
• Turn to set the time.
• Push the crown all the way in to start the watch.

VK63. Quartz hybrid with chronograph

Start:
• No winding needed.

Set the time:
• Pull the crown to position 2.
• Turn to set the time.

Use the chronograph:
• Press the upper button at 2 o’clock to start or stop.
• Press the lower button at 4 o’clock to reset after stopping.
